Canon MP510 I have just pirchased the canon mp510 and can not install it, my PC can not find the location for the set up. Please help.

Did you install the driver after downloading, cause the site seems to have all OS versions? Very thorough site.

and you can find everything about scanner ... download the file then extract to any location on your hard drive run the starthtm after installing this file you can see manual in ,,, go to start then select all programs now you can see there canon MP510 manual click on that then you can see the manual of your printer there is 3rd tab is scanning guide

On the page which opens, select the operating system (Windows 7) of your computer and download the appropriate drivers and software.

If you are pushing scan and then black or color and the scanner is not working then check to see if the scanner loaded whth the rest of the options. Click start, chose printers and faxes, choose scanners and cameras, right click WIA Canon MP510, choose properties, check status. If not active or not there, you will need to reinstall.

I have lost the installation Cd to this printer too. How to install without the cd? I am using windows xp

Hi, does your printer have enough ink? If enough still blink. need to down load a reseter from canon web site inquire if they have free download printer reseter.
