After opening the link, select your operating system (win xp/vista,etc). After downloading the driver on to your computer, run the setup and install it. After installation is complete restart your computer.

just reinstall the printer driver software cd it will install the missing file.and scanner function will start.

to get pdf files you have to have adobe installed in the computer

1. All you need is Uninstall the the printer from your control panel.
2. go to my computer and open your Hard drive (C:)
3. Go to the programs folder and open it.
4. delete the HP F4280 folder.
5. reinstall the printer.

Make sure that your printed is not connected to your PC during software installation until you are being told to do so.

Do a complete reset.
1- Clear the printer queue.
2- Turn off the device.
3- Remove paper in the tray and possible paper jammed.
4- Remove ink toner.
5- Turn on the device briefly and turn it off.
6- Replace paper and toner.
7- Turn on!
