Genuine Xerox 8560 Ink Blocks don't fit

I recently picked up a 4x6 pack of Genuine Xerox ink blocks for my 8560. They don't fit. They are missing a little notch on the downhill side of the block. The Media Sciences 8560 blocks fit just fine. Anyone seen this before?

Call servicedesk, maybe you got the cubes for europe/USA/Asia. They are a bit different

So European Xerox 8560 printers use slightly different ink blocks from USA or Asia versions of the printer? Well, that's a PITA.

Xerox phaser 8500 error code 09, 038, 46:4597

Ink count sensor flags are stuck after melting 2.5 ink sticks. The following codes are recorded: 9,03x.41, where x= 5 for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black. (Your error indicates black ink loader failure)

Features on the bottom of genuine Xerox ink sticks actuate the Ink Out Sensor located at the forward end of each ink channel of the Ink Loader. The sensor indicates the passage of ink to provide a count of ink consumption.

Damaged or non-genuine ink sticks may not reliably actuate the sensors. This can lead to false Ink Out messages as well as Ink Stick count faults. Using 8400 model ink in a 8500/8550/8560 models will also cause 9,03x.4x ink stick count faults.
Ink Loader will need replaced and then diagnostics entered to run "Clear ISC Fault" test to clear the error.

Error message 09,038,46:20728 on xerox phaser 8560

That error states that the ink counter sensor flags are stuck. 9,038 means it is the black one. Make sure there is no blockage in the ink loader and that you are using Genuine Xerox ink sticks. If both of those are fine you need to replace the ink loader. The part # is 133K27711, iteminconline.com has it in stock and can ship same day. Good luck!

If after following mariolands advice the problem continues, you will need to replace the ink loader, for the 8560 ,the part number is 133K27771. Here is a video that will show you how. The video also covers the 8400, 8500, and 8550. Though the part numbers are different the procedure is the same. ">

How do I remove old ink from a phaser 8560? It is bargain ink (terrible) and we want to replace it with genuine Xerox.

You should be able to contact Xerox directly for information concerning ordering new ink cartridges As for removing existing cartridges, the lift hatch at the top of the unit allows access to the cartridges.
