you wish to combine music from the same artist or various artists? the same artist will go under that artist name... various artist you will create a folder (play list... slow jams, dance tracks or even genre)
example Hip Hop will be all in one folder or all My Chemical Romance live / studio in one folder
connect device to PC, start/my computer/see device open it, right click new folder... now open new window find files click and drag or copy and paste files from where the files are to the newly name folder
note once you finish do not disconnect... disconnect using hardware removal safely

ok. first, you need to change the id3 tag in your mp3 files by right clicking it, selection properties, and then under information, change the album and artist name to what you desire.
for playlist, make a playlist in windows media and save it, then change the extension to .plp
Select Recently Added, Artists, Albums, Songs, Genres, My Top Rated, Playlists, Podcasts, Audiobooks, or Recordings (Voice). - to view songs by album, artist, etc.
Or remove the track lisitng from the ID3 tag completely.
it sounsd like you are having a firmware issue..What I would recommend you to do is to update the firmware that is on your device..and that should solve the problems you are having..I hope this helps
