I cannot delete songs from Sansa E260
Ok, Sansa made it a little difficult this time,
"Connect your player, of course. Go to "My Computer" > "Sansa e260".
There are hidden files. To unhide go to "Tools" (located on the menu
bar) > "Folder Options..." > hit the "View" tab > select "Show
hidden files and folders". You will see more folders to appear in a
faded color. Click on the "MUSIC" folder. Click on the artist, then
album then select the song, right click and down to delete." --Yahoo Answers
Loading music
What are you using to load music. If you have access to Windows Media Player 11 it is very simple.
First open WMP11, make sure your player is connected to the computer with the USB cable. At the top of WMP11 click Sync
the player will sync with WMP11, drag and drop music and click sync, very simple. I have a Sansa View and it is very simple, This basically works with most MP3 players.

Downloaded books from the library won't play
I was having the same problem when I used Overdrive Media Console to transfer my audiobook files to my Sansa. I updated the license and retransferred and even tried changing the USB settings on the mp2 player. What finally worked? Using Windows Media Player to sync the files instead. When I hooked up my Sansa I chose "use WMP to sync files" and then I dragged/dropped the audiobook files to the mediaplayer window. The audiobook now plays without any problems since WMP made sure the files have the latest subscription update code.

On your PC, create a new empty .txt document using word pad, type nothing but save the file as a .txt.
go in to my computer -->> explore and find the file and rename the .txt document so it has an m3u file extension (example: my_list.m3u).
Open the m3u file with wordpad, notepad, or a text editor.
In the first line at top of the page type #EXTM3U.
After the first line, start listing your music files, copy and paste the song names , (with extension ie .mp3). One music file name each line.
Exit the text editor and save the m3u file once you are finished.
Drag and drop the M3U playlist to the Sansa player's MUSIC folder, your done if it works.
