Before using Frostwire, understand that it is a very virus-prone site - make sure you have anti-virus software on your computer before trying to use. You can't transfer songs directly to your mp3 player through Frostwire, but you can download the songs into the "My Music" folder of your computer - you will have to go into the Frostwire Properties toolbox, and change your download folder from "Frostwire Downloads" to "My Music" in order to make this happen. Once the songs are downloaded onto your computer, open up Windows Media Player - use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs from your "My Music" folder to your Zen. (alternatively, you can change your Library --> Add to Library folders in Windows Media Player to include the "Frostwire Downloads" folder). Good luck - I could probably write an entire page elaborating on each sentence that I have given you here - but Fixya has word limits. :-) Let me know if you need extra help.

You can look for free mp3 files on peer to peer networks.
You could try Frostwire, a light peer to peer sharing software program:
Look on this site for the available Operating Systems:
http://www.frostwire.com/?id=downloads
For example on Windows operating system, the execute file below is the installation program for Frostwire:
http://www.brothersoft.com/d.php?soft_id=62030&url=http%3A%2F%2Fusfiles.brothersoft.com%2Finternet%2Fdownload_managers%2Ffrostwire-4.20.6.windows.exe
1. Right click the link above
2. Select Save target as... to save the file frostwire 4.20.6.windows.exe to a location on your computer.
3. Go to the location on the computer where you saved the install file 4.20.6.windows.exe and double click this execute file to start Frostwire installation.
4. Run Frostwire after installation and search for mp3 music files:
enter names of artist or title in the music search.

All support for the player NWZ-E436F can be found on the Sony site:

Can't transfer music

Explanation -
Error code 0x80004005
This problem may occur if a file that the Windows Product Activation (WPA) requires is damaged or missing. This behavior occurs if one or both of the following conditions are true:

A third-party backup utility or an antivirus program interferes with the installation of Windows XP.

A file that WPA requires is manually modified.

Solution -
First, disable your Windows firewall just to be sure (make sure you have another firewall or antivirus program before doing this. Delete all songs and start over. Frostwire has two big problems - it is virus-prone, and
embedded text leads to the corruption of many mp3 players. Make sure you delete all text from the Comments section of the ID3 tag of any Frostwire song before loading it onto your mp3 player. To do this:
1. Open Windows Media Player
2. Click Library – make sure the songs that you have just added are visible. If they are not visible, give Windows Media Player two minutes to update the library. If they still don’t appear, move the mouse cursor over to the Library tab, and click the little white arrow that appears under the word "Library" – this will being down a drop-down menu; select "Add to Library"; click the "Add" button and add the Frostwirewire Downloads folder; click OK; click OK again – Windows Media Player will now attempt to add your Frostwire downloads to the Windows Media Player library
3. Find the song that you want to edit
4. Right-click the song, and select "Advanced Tag Editor"
5. click on the Comments tab – make sure it is blank
Now you can safely load the song from Frostwire into your device (mp3 player).

Creative Zen Doesn't Recognize Music

Turn off your player. Push in the reset and turn it on. You should get the reboot menu. Click on CLEAN. If it doesn't work, then REFORMAT after backing up your data. You can also reget the firmware from Zen website.
