Chirping noise when accelerating

If it is a belt noise, sprinkling baby powder on the belt will make the noise go away. Apply liberaly with engine off onto the belt and start the vehicle. The belt may have gotten coolant on it and this will cause the chirp. Also a defective belt tensioner will cause the belt to chirp

My 'the first years' baby monitor will only work when plugged into the wall. When I take the connection from the wall away the monitor switches off. Help please :)

Either the battery is dead or you need to change the sound setting that keeps unit off when it does not detect sound to protect the battery.
Another person said.
".We have this one. It must be in the sound activation mode, which helps to save the monitor's battery life. If it's in that mode, you'll see what looks like a crying baby icon along the top of the screen and the screen only turns on when sound is detected in the room.

To turn the mode off and keep the monitor on all the time, just press the Menu button on the right (in the middle of the arrows), press the right arrow until you reach the crying baby icon on the far right (so the icon gets big), press the Menu button, and a check mark and an X will appear - the X will be pre-selected and appear red. Just press the Menu button again to select the X and turn that mode off. Once back to the Menu screen, arrow up to the Return button on top right and press the Menu button to exit."
