Reciver will not come on

Hello i have a Sony str-av 1020 reciver. But reciver is burned power supply transformer. At the transformer walks around 125 v, but i don't know how much Current transformer on the other side is, and i don't know what transformer i have to buy? Please help. I would be very grateful!

This sounds like this may be an issue with your tv 2, make sure your remote is in sat mode by pressingthe sat button. then select, if still nothing take your remote to the recvr and look on the back of the recvr to make sure the uhf ant. is standing straight up if not, straighten and try remote functions. if you stillg et no responce there could be other issues that are simple to fix depending on what kind of equipment you have. you can call 800-333-3474 for assistance or reply with recvr name or model #.

Your water valve is probably frozen. Put a portable heater in the area overnight and see if that helps. you may have to thaw the pipes / hoses with a hair dryer - be careful!

Either a bad lamp or bad reciver board.If audio amp ic on reciver board shorts ,it will kill part of supply and lamp ballast will not turn on and fire lamp.

If you have no channel display or CB operation, it sounds like a blown voltage regulator that supplies power to the CB PLL circuit.

1st of all do check that the telephone line cord is plugged into the correct jack in the machine. It needs to be in the jack marked "line." not the jack marked "Tel."

Further questions need to be addressed, such as :Is this a recently acquired machine? or Has the machine been disconnected from the power for any length of time? or Has the machine been moved to a different location?

No I hate to be the one to give you the bad news but most likly the capacitors in the power supply or the output circuit of this reciver, are bad and most likly need to be overhouled. Or there is mosture contamination on the printed circuit board. It is time to let go and buy a new reciver, unless you want to invest big bucks into the repair of this reciver, as Im sure it can be repaired, but at what cost??
