How to add a subwoofer?

Car systems and home systems are different in the fact that the car system expects to receive 12 volts DC for power, and they are usually 8 ohm speakers. I would not recommend doing this unless you are in the mood for some serious config. Power converter from 110 AC-12v DC and big enough to handle the amperage. If it's not powered, then your going to be running a 4 ohm speaker on an 8 ohm amp output. Again, not recommended.

Speakers cut out

HI,

Are the speaker leads clean and full? ( not missing a bunch of strands) if so, it sounds like the spot where the speaker connectors tie into the circuit board inside.
I would find someone to solder that places where the connectors go into the main circuit board

JVC dual speakers subs still working yet the tweeters are not on both speakers

The tweeters are broken then with your speakers and are not working either. The tweeters will need to be replaced for both speakers that you have. It could also be caused by the capacitors being bad as well.

My disctray is stuck. Howcan I open it?

There are a few potential solutions you can try if your disc tray is stuck:
  1. Check the power cord and ensure it is securely plugged into the outlet and the back of the device. If the device has a power switch, make sure it is turned on.
  2. Check the disc inside the tray to make sure it is not blocking the tray from opening. If there is a disc, try gently pushing the tray in and then pulling it out again to see if it will release.
  3. If the above steps do not work, try pressing and holding the "eject" button on the device for a few seconds. This may release the tray.
  4. If the tray is still stuck, try pressing and holding the "eject" button while unplugging the device from the power outlet. Wait a few seconds, then plug the device back in and try the "eject" button again.

Hi, Please remove all sources of interference from the jvc device (ie radio, microphone, antenna etc). Then listen to the sound again. If the issue persists, please use another power source and check the device cables for any damage. Thank you.

Unmuting JVC RX-554v receiver.

You can search for the remote on-line, the manual should give you a model number of the remote. So you can search for that. If it is expensive or not unavailable, then get a good quality universal one. Preferably one that searches for the device itself, which will save you messing around looking for the codes.

Hi I have a JVC mini hi fi mxdn200aa the problem is when I play cd or usb there is no sound what can I do

Check each set of wires and speakers to be sure no wire or lead is connected to a chassis ground. The radio will see this as a short and turn off the internal amplifier causing the on but no sound issue. Each speaker connected to the radio needs dedicated positive and negative leads from the radio to each speaker. HOPE THIS HELP!

JVC RX-558V no sound at all

First of all, check if there is any audio device connected to the receiver. If there is, check if the audio device is turned on and the volume is correctly set.If the receiver does not have any audio device connected, then you should connect the antenna and try again.
