HP, Palm's new owner, has offered Palm Support Palm Tungsten E2 Palm Desktop 6 2 and HotSync Manager... to help sync PDAs to Win 7. However it lists the z22, which used Palm OS 5.4, rather than the m150, which used Palm OS 4.1. I don't know if that will provide a barrier, but good luck in your attempt.
the screen says use stylus to tap center of target ...i do that and it goes to upper left corner i tap and it goes lower right corner and back and forth between the to corners?
Found a Zire PDF manual "Handbook for Palm (tm) Zire (tm) Handheld" at the following URL "http://nettopdf.info". You can also do an Internet search for PDF "zire_ug.pfd". The graphics are for a Zire Mono M150 but I believe this is a general manual for most early Zire models. Found on 2/6/2011.
Wait till one is provided by the manufacturer.
Palm Desktop: Windows 7 compatibility
Palm's synchronization software, Palm Desktop 6.2, was designed for 32-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista. Palm has not done thorough testing with the broad range of third-party equipment running Windows 7 and therefore can't provide assurances about compatibility.
Older palm products and vista aren't compatible. You either needs to transfer info via bluetooth or upgrade your palm if you wish to continue using vista. As far as transferring, possibly a memory card.
