Hi,
Are you upgrading from a previous Palm that synched using a serial cable? Even if not, you may have inadvertently set it up for the wrong interface. On your desktop computer, Right-Click on the Hot Sync icon in the system tray (next to the time) and verify that there is a checkmark next to Local Serial on top of the popup menu. Also, verify the HotSync app on your Palm. Local should be selected above the logo and cradle/cable should be selected below the logo.Double check your cables make sure they're connected properly, including the power for your Palm. Make sure the Palm is seated properly in the cradle and the Green light is on solid.
