Just erase all the existing previous data since its already corrupted.there is no choice but to start a new game.at least you already memorise the past game that you have saved.hope this one helps

The saved data becomes corrupt if the system is turned off while that particular saved game is loading or in the process of saving. That is why most PS3 games tell you not to mess with the power while the games are loading or saving.

Xbox 360 locks up. what causes my xbox game the hobbit to freeze in story mode? when the story completes it locks up and the screen turns black, I shut it down and when restarted it keeps repeating

Is this the only game affected? Do all your other games play through? You can try to play the game under a different profile. Sometimes game saves get corrupted. That is why they were telling you to purge the hard drive. You can just delete the game saves for this game.

Nba live Game data

Unless the game data is being saved to a memory card, I would say the hard drive might be going bad on it. Try swapping out the hard drive and then try playing the game again and see if it saves the data properly.

Corrupted data

It's possible that you're turning off the ps3 while it's saving, corrupting the save data.
Make sure when you turn off the ps3 it's not in the process of saving.
Try the above and if you still have no luck it's possible there's an issue with your ps3's hard drive, have you had any problems with any other games?

Also, if the problem persists, try deleting the MW2 gamedata, located under gamedata on the ps3's menu.
Best of luck to you.

Saved data on Batman is saying its corrupt

you probly upgraded firmware to 3.0 this broke alot of games if you havent already started a new game( this will erase the old saves ) do a system update even if it didnt tell you to, to see if update 3.01 is available. If your already at 3.01 then you may need to start all over or just google ps3 game saves and find one that is about the same level as yours although most are either 50% or 100% complete

My Playstation 2 memory card has corrupted data.

well, if it only does this error for one game then maybe the problem is in the game itself? Is the CD a real one? or is it copied with a golden back?
if it is copied then such things can definitely happen.

Memory Card Corrupted

you cannot save another file until you delete previous one.Corruption occurs if the memory card is removed from console or if you reset the game while saving or loading game remember this also happens when you are saving or loading game and electricity turns off.

Corrupted Data on PS2 memory card

I don't know if you have been trying to delete the data with a game inside the ps2, but in case you have, try this.

Turn on the system WITHOUT a game inside, select BROWSER, the MEMORY CARD ICON, and i believe the corrupted data icon is a grayish black square. Choose options and then delete.
I am also heard that inserting a music cd will work as well, probably just has to not be a game inside the ps2.

Corrupted data comes from turning off the ps2, or removing the memory card while the game loads or saves data to/from memory card.
I really hope that helps, ps2's are meant to be played! Good luck.

DS Lite - game boy advance game - delete saved data?

Do so how you normally would when playing the GBA game on a GBA (It best be a GBA game, because DS and DS Lites cannot communicate to older Game Boy games), go through the menus (on the game) and delete the files. It's not a matter of the DS having the problem it's the game.

I've went through the menu's and deleted the game but my game still has "corrupted data":

First, do all you can do, clean out the slot in the DS Lite, and the cartridge (with a damp, NOT SOAKING WET, cotton swab), and try the game again. Start a new save file, save it after a ways, and try to load it again. IF it -STILL- has a corrupted save file problem, then it is time to bring it to the seller or the manufacturer.

The seller: Telling the seller what's happening is great. BUT SHOWING the seller that the save data never loads really helps! Customers can say quite a few things to Sellers just to get a new game or their money back, but showing them is pretty much proof. No, you don't -HAVE- to show them, but if the seller is -that- skeptical, it may be wise to bring your DS along with you.

The manufacturer: All games have a Technical support call number, also going to nintendo's main site,www.nintendo.com/, and going straight to their technical support pages helps too. Sending it in will warrant a little wait time, but if done correctly you will receive a fixed or new game from them as well.

Add ons and game data

Return the system now (you only have one year warrenty), if your expiriencing any issues. Just type in " ps3 not reading on search.com and you will find out why. Its a huge issue. If you still have your reciept, get a new one. Also sounds like you have a memory problem, so get the new system. It sounds like alot, but it will be worth it in the long run.
