My grandaughter v-reader is stuck on calibration mode will not advance to activity screen. Has anyone come up with a sloution to this problem?

Select the Accessibility button ?
Option (1) Touch Panel Adjustment - Touch the four "+" buttons ? Press Start ? Close

Make sure the MUTE function has not been activated. Try turning up the volume level. Check that there are no headphones connected. Check if the issue also occurs to other device connected to the TV.

I have a 7"tablet Ep3-4/5563 Crystalview 7" and it is stuck on the calibration page and the touch screed is unresponsive. Can anyone tell me what I might do to remedy this problem?

If the back button does not work, power off the Approach.

Connect the Approach to your computer and try running the Garmin WebUpdater to load or reload the latest version of software. This will resolve most issues.

Power it back on and try doing a screen calibration by pressing the wrench in the bottom right corner and arrow down and press Calibrate Screen. Press on the dots using a stylus or the round part on the back of a plastic pen.

Your touch screen is set too sensitive for your touch. On your main screen go into More (you can find this at the bottom right corner of your screen)
Select Settings from the items presented
Select Advanced Settings next
Calibrate Touch Screen and follow the prompts

When the Reader device is started for the first time or is reset back to factory settings, the screen must be calibrated. The Reader device will display a calibration screen that requires you to touch the stylus to the center of an "X" at several points on the screen. This is to make sure the touch screen properly recognizes input.
The process requires you to touch the "X" in the following locations on the screen:

• Top left
• Bottom right
• Top right
• Center

If the screen is accidentally touched someplace other than the center of the "X" during calibration, the Reader device will display a message stating Calibration error detected. Please restart calibration process .
If this happens, please start again in the top left corner and touch the stylus to the center of each "X" as it is displayed, being careful not to touch any other part of the screen. After the sequence is completed the Reader device will display Touch Panel calibration completed . Click OK to continue to the next step in the setup process.

Give the screen a thorough cleaning with a soap and water cloth (NOT SOAKING) and allow to completely air dry. Then try recalibrating.

Go into system and choose calibration.
