Bizhub 500. made a mistake during touch screen calibration. Is there any option to enter the screen calibration without touching the touch screen?

I have an used Bizhub 500. I was trying to solve a touch panel issue (off center), but i made a mistake. I did the touch screen calibration procedure, but I made a mistake during the process: i touched the calibration points in the wrong way (I clicked over the “arrows” instead of clicking over the “crosses” that appear on the screen during the calibration procedure). After pressing the 4 wrong points, I confirmed the calibration. Now, the touch screen works but it is totally miscalibrated. I can't go back to the calibration option to re calibrate it. If I press microswitch to reset, when "." (dot) shows up on left of screen, I press # 3 button, enter the code (000000) and I get stuck on the "press end", because the screen is miss calibrated. its impossible to click on the touch panel "END" button. Is there a way to do a general reset of the calibration? Is there any option to enter the screen calibration without touching the touch screen? any ideas how can i fix it? Thanks in advance.

Turn the unit off. Press and hold down the power button and keep holding it. You will see the screen light up and it will say "pre-boot mode". Keep holding down the power key. It will then say "booting". Keep holding the power button down. You'll then come to the calibation screen. Select the dots and you'll be back in business.

It's not in service mode, but rather in the 'self diagnostic menu'. Access it as follows:
Press "clear modes", 1 9 9 3, "clear/stop" (5 times).

** Do not try any other adjustments in this mode...only touch screen

First, upgrade the software of the phone. After the upgrade, the setup wizard appears; complete it, and start it again from "Control panel", "Other", "setup wizard": now, just press the next button until 1 2 3 4 appears in the screen: don't select anything else, just the next button, or the calibration screen would not appear.

How do I recalibrate the screen on a Bizhub 250?
Remove the Compact Flash Cover. Located Right side next to where the network cable is installed. Remove the cover, using a small screw driver or small plastic stick depress black button gently. Called the Warm Restart switch.

When "." appears at the center on the left-hand side of the screen, enter "3" from the via 10-Key Pad. Enter the 8-digit service code and touch [END]. (Default value: 00000000) if required.

Touch [Touch Panel Adjustment] from the Initial mode screen.
Following the arrow mark, touch the four points (+) sequentially on the screen using a pen. DO NOT USE A SHARPE POINT!!!!!.

1. Press the Accessibility key.
2. Touch [Touch Panel Adj.].
3. Using the tip of a pen or similar object, touch the four crosses (+) on the screen in
sequence.
• These crosses may be touched in any order; but be sure to touch the center of each

Touch screen calibration
Press the keys listed below, please note you need to press the Clear/Stop key 5 times. The screen will change after entering the keys and touch screen calibration will be option number 1. The calibration will consist of pressing a couple of small circles on the screen.

What does calibrating a ipad mean
Whoever used the term "calibrating an iPad" may have been referring to touch screen calibration.

Some touch screens need to be adjusted, or "calibrated", or the device may act as if you touched a different spot on the screen than you did. The iPad screen does not need to be calibrated.
If the iPad make a mistake about what spot you touched, the error may be due to:
  • a defect or damage;

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the touch screen panel is not aligned. You can try Calibrating the touch screen to resolve the issue.
Calibration option is in the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera. Calibration option enables you to perform calibration when the touch panel buttons do not react at the appropriate points where you touch. You can use the paint pen, touch the X mark displayed on the screen. The X mark moves on the screen. Once the calibration option is finished successfully, the touch screen should work.
The Calibration option can be done only if the Menu is accessible.
You can also perform a power reset before performing the Calibration.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.
This should resolve the issue.

My garmin nuvi 670 touch screen is not calibrated
Have you tried using the screen calibration command? Press the Wrench symbol, then the Display symbol and then Calibrate screen. Press the dots as it tells you to and you should now have a calibrated touchscreen.

Fix display lines justification on Aastra M5316? It’s so left justified that first bit of info is cut off.
