Any idea on how to get rid of baf odor, mold in the worthless machine?
Maytag MAH5500B front load washer. color clothes come out of the wash smelling dirty and moldy. Clothes are washed in cold water with Kirkland detergent, simple green and baking soda, but still no good.
Any help?
Its better do a maintenance, or put it to wash without cloths, only water and clorox, and varsol with the max level (water)

THis works to get rid of the odor; to keep the odor from coming back, you have to do this on a regular basis, especially if you do not use the washer on a daily basis. Apparently the bacteria tends to build up inside the washer, and the only way to effectively deal with it is to repeat the hot-water bleach wash on a regular basis.

WE HAVE STRONG ODOR BY THE FRONT DOOR THAT HAS SUDDENLY DEVELOP. HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE..IT HAS JUST APPEAR. WOULD LIKE A GOOD SOLUTION. NOT JUST A A TEMP.
The smell is bad. I cant figure this out. I tried bleach, and leaving the door open to dry out. What else can I use? It is horrible to have to wash over and over again clothes due to smell, so this water saving front loader is not a very good saver. I heard about a trap or something on other washers is there one on this one?
can't get rid of the mold on the lining of the washer....any suggestions? tried scrubbing it off w/toothbrush w/bleach, but nothing seems to work.
worthless washer front loader. I have one with mold getting on my clean washed clother. It attaches to the spinn before I go to place them in the dryer.
