Hi, I need the values of r628 r636 r621 and r637 because are very damage and is not possible see the details of these resistors. Thanks

Hellow, I have a MTX Thunder 251D that don´t turn on, in the circuit board ave some transistor with damage (in this part I don´t have problems) but in a line of resistors that recibe a important damage I need hhelp because I don´t Know the values the resistors are: R628 R636 R621 and R637 Thanks.

SOURCE: MTX 1501 SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM

MTX never released any of their schematics.

What sort of problem are you having with it?

SOURCE: THUNDER 5601 WHEN VEHICLE TURNED ON, SUBS BOOM, THEN WORKS OK. ALSO WHEN RADIO TURNED OFF

If the amp produces no boom with no signal input cables connected, I'd suggest using an LOC.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: mtx thunder 1500 watt amp no sound

Even if there is no visible damage, it could be that one of the transistors is blown, Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the transistors.

SOURCE: i have a mtx thunder 7801 and a sledge hammer box

Sounds like the subs are blown with the voicecoils fused together which means the amp is/was seeing a dead short ( zero Ohms reisitence) not good for any amp. Disconnect the speaker terminals from the amp and see if it turns on. The funny smell might have been the subs blowing up, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

How can i Set Haier tv, my haier 14'' CRT change With 21'' CRT so vertical Hight is short, how can i adjust vertical hight.. IC "Trident TDA 11105 PS/V3/3/AP3

You can check it by reducing the value of the resistor, connected to ground at one end of the deflection yolks' vertical scan out windings. Usually, this resistor will vary a value of 1.2 Ohms to 2.2 Ohms. But, if you reduce this value too much, to say at about 0.15 Ohms or so, there is a possibility of damaging the vertical scan output IC.
So, do this very carefully. It is a trial and error process.
Check it with gradual reducing this value of this resistor; by 0.25 Ohms at a time. Wish you success. I hereby advice you, assuming that the horizontal width of the picture is OK.

R47 resistor is blown on Neff S5453X0GB/07 control board. I can't make out the value as it is badly damaged - anyone know the correct value so that I can replace it (TY7 is blown as well!).

HI.We cannot really but identify the correct resistor value unless we can identify or determine the color coding on the resistor. Each color has a corresponding value and tolerance as well.If you can't indentify the color coding then you can refer to its diagram usually printed out on the side of the control board or near thecontrol board. We cannot but cannot give a guess value unless color coding is given.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.

What is the value of the resistor that burns up when to much RF power is input?

Hi wrightjc2,
Most common burned resistor are those with low resistance because it acts like a fuse to avoid further damaged to some parts if shorts, overload happened. But still best to have a schematic diagram to identify the burned one. If you haven't a schematic you may get the resistance of the resistor, measure it to the middle where the burned cut out, add the resistance from one half side to other half side. You may now have an Idea what may be the value of the burned resistor.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

A transistor or resistor burnt beyond recognition i need a wiring diagram to identify the type

You have not mentioned what electronic equipment you are requesting the details.
You will be able to confirm the transistor value from the stage where it has burned which also goes for the resistor. So take tech help than to try with trials to damage the set much further.

Resistor burned on my Grandmother's Emerson model NR303TT

Hello Gio, Hi, a burned resistor is usually caused by a shorted part like a semiconductor or regulator, there are two things you should do, find the value of the resistor and what caused the resistor to burned, for the Resistor, the value is usually written on the board, If not you can find the value on schematics diagram (which is usually hard to find, but if you have one, fine), and on the same working model (very remote a possibility). IF this are not available, you now need the assistance of a technician.

TV resistor mystery

Go to an electronics parts shop and take the damage resistor with you.

The bands are a colour code (the first two bands indicate the first two numbers, the 3rd one is for the number of zeros and the fourth one is the accuracy of the value e.g. 5%, 10%) for the value of the resistor.

The physical size of the component gives an indication of the current that it can carry.

Red convergence can be adjusted up and down, but not left or rt.

Check in the area for amsll pico fuses or low valued resistors. These are often damaged when the ICs fail. Please verify your model number so we can provide additional details.

Sony resistor values?

It is recommended to use the same value due to the function of the resistors and their values.
A lower value will let the current flow a bit faster and the higher value will slow it down according to their design.
Try installing the same value of 220 ohms.
Hope this helps.

CT-27SX11E Fixed but need advice on R value

i would not recomend replacing the 7w with the 5w, beacuse the resistor will allways run hot, hotter then the resistor should be. the resistor could possible melt anything that touches it & will not last as long as the original before it goes bad. find a 7w, if just for safty reasons.
