What is the value of the resistor that burns up when to much RF power is input?

A burned out resistor means too much power has flowed and burned it out.
you need a schematic to find the resistor value but also what other parts have blown as I can guarantee just replacing the resistor would just mean another burned out resistor.

value not cost $ but a resistor is it to hard to say resistor.?
OHMS and color bands all that is easy but no VALUE eve guessed
and if burned up and my guess it did (not said)
and guess what even if you had a correct resistor
it too will burn up, due to other part is shorted 99% chance.

have you repaired the component that burned these resistors out? if not then you cannot replace them as they will just cook again.

Let us use a bit of logic to resolve this... I have an Axiom but it would be a lot of screws to take out to get to the part... so let us think about this. The resistor value starts with a "1" and we know it is 5% tolerance (gold). we know the resistor burnt up with likely 5 volts on it... Value could be 1000 ohms, however the voltages present (12 volts max) would NOT have burned up a resistor of 1000 ohms. The USB area is mostly 5 volts and across 100 ohms is only a quarter watt... not enough to really burn up a resistor... First thing is to MEASURE that the resistor s open... in spite of being burned, it MAY still be OK... these resistors now usually either open or remain close to their value. The resistor ALSO may be a fusible resistor intended to act as a fuse... Is the resistor open or not? is it near a resistance with a "1" as the first digit? If it is not open I suspect it is not all of the problem. In that case, look for a burned circuit trace on the board. If it is open, then MEASURE the voltage across the resistor with the power applied. If you find 5 volts, then it MIGHT be a 10 ohm used to limit the USB current to 500ma. Get back to me with your findings... I have unraveled many of these things...

Hello, This means that the unit is drawing excessive current which is usually an indication of a short circuit within the unit. Now since the resistor is glowing red hot this narrows down the possible causes. I would suspect the RF amplifier stage as the possible cause, more to the point the RF amplification IC or FET is the item that has shorted out. I would also advise checking the audio signal amplifier to. You will need a schematic diagram of the CB, a Multimeter, an antenna dummy load, and a 12V power supply. If you have a background in electronics this task should be doable, if not I would suggest that you take the unit to a qualified technician for servicing. I don't recommend this, but the resistor you speak of is probably a small fuse. Try jumping out the fuse, then turn on unit for brief moment. If it powers up, fine. Replace jumper wire with 1 amp fuse. If not, take to prof. tech.
