A reset is only possible with an original remote----reset will not cure set not coming on---a model number would tell me more.

1. Press the Mode button until the LOCK CODE display appears.
2. Enter the 4-digit code using the CHANNEL SELECTOR buttons.
3. Press the CANCEL button to cancel the previously locked channel. The LOCK CODE number display flashes.
4. To exit the CHANNEL LOCK mode, press the MODE button until only the Time and Channel display appear.

Secret text if the code is forgotten!
1. Press the Mode button until the LOCK CODE display appears.
2. Press Channel Number "9" and "QV" simultaneously. Knowledge of this procedure defeats the channel lock system.

set both knobs the temperature and the bake broil to the lock mode, set the time such as 3 to 4 hrs I think and hit start. You should then here the oven begin to lock.

Sharp has several locking and V-chip commands but one of these three possibilities should work.

Without the code, you must get an original remote and press the "QV" and the "9" buttons together to unlock the TV.

Try this (with the original remote): Reset TV Guide On Screen
1. Press the TV Guide button
2. Curser up and over to the SETUP menu
3. Select Change system settings (highlight only)
4. Enter the following numbers … 753159852 (setup mode)
5. Enter the following numbers … 653274147 (reset mode)

It will take some time to get the guide downloaded, but it works.
