set both knobs the temperature and the bake broil to the lock mode, set the time such as 3 to 4 hrs I think and hit start. You should then here the oven begin to lock.

Temperature sensor faulty

I used ovenlettering.co.uk they sent me 2 sets and a diagram of the control panel. They were very easy to fit and are a perfect match.

when elements get hot they expand slightly thus breaking connection. id replace the element as they are very cheap

You could of used to much oil on the hinges most likely though the hinges are not seated properly though. Have you assured that the hinges are in the correct position? Also what was the original problem that you found with the unit when the door was stuck in the open position? And how did you correct this as well? There are positioned seatings in the hinge that cause the door to be able to be positioned at the 30 and 45 degrees if you also have to much lubricant on the seating then the hinge would glide right past the 30 and 45 degrees stop points. the outer cover piece should pop off revealing fixing screws ,when iam in doubt i look at the new parts and work it out from their but iam not always right like this but 99% of the time iam not far wrong

The oven was interupted/switched off while it was in clean mode. Try pressing Start/Cabcel button for over 10 seconds and check if the door latch unlocks. If not then try and run the self clean cycle again and let the cycle complete. After the cycle completes let the oven cool down for 30-40 minutes. However, it still doesn't unlock then you would need to disassemble the oven to remove the latch. Hope this helps...
