SOURCE: Amp turns off after about 5-10 minutes of use for a few seconds

One of two things...Amp is going into overload protection (should be indicated by a light on the amp), or you have insufficient power going to the amp....if this is the problem, try a 2 farad capacitor on the input power line to the amp.

SOURCE: after unit is on for about 15 minutes it clicks

First I would like to verify that the buzzing noise is from the speakers, and or subwoofer and goes up and down with the volume control. 2nd if it is a noise inside the receiver then that would take us in a different direction, possibly to a chattering power or speaker protection relay.

Back to the intent of the first post, I was trying to determine if you were getting an analog hum or digital processing error in the audio.
So knowing which input, surround, on/off, DSP on/of settings would steer us in the proper direction.

The turn off pop is interesting, because it may indicate a voltage off set being applied/removed to the speakers or an audio processing malfunction.

An experienced technician would first verify the power supply voltages, speaker offset voltages and bias, and then isolate to the analog or DSP section.

Thank you for using FixYa

SOURCE: I installed the pioneer DEH-1300MP

You may have a bad speaker. Are you using the stock speakers or aftermarket speakers? If you can, check the resistance of the speakers, they should be around 4 ohms or so. If they are less than 3, they are probably bad, You may also have a bad output Ic.

What are some reasons that will trigger your car radio to say amp error or would someone have had to messed with it in some way?

Everything depends on the car stereo and amp setup that you have. That info is very important. Um without that it's just a shot in the dark. Possible stereo settings for amp were changed, amp failure, amp wiring fault or the good old it just doesn't feel like working.

Discovery horn & lights stopped working but the fuses are not blown

Sounds like a switch failure or a loose wire near the switch. A short wold have caused the fuse to blow. Remove the cover over the steering column and check the wiring

How do I unstop my dishwasher?

Turn the breaker off for five minutes and the turn back on. Start the dishwasher and see if it will drain. Sometimes power bumps can mess with the control board. Otherwise it could be the control board or the pump.

Black screen after five minutes of watching. Audio is fine but no video.

What would need to be done here is some voltage tests on power board when set is working and then again when it is not, also a valuable source for some parts:

2000 mustang convertable amp problems

Are you sure the amplifiers are trashed? Have you checked the fuses? A reputable car audio shop could help for a fee of course, but it may be worth the price. It's odd that (all) the amps would malfuntion simultaniously unless someone unqualified messed with the wiring or the radio has a defective trigger wire (turns the amps on). You'll be sadly disapointed with any new radio without the factory amps, especially with the convertable ... I strongly suggest getting the amps (the factory system) working again.

Problem with Amp sustaing Power

I fixed it. Believe it or not, it was a fuse. I looked at them all and they did not look blown. So I got mad and replaced the remote wire and the fuses. And when I put in the last fuse it was fine. Apparantly from diligent research, fuses can look ok but have issues with soldering problems. Thanks peeps.

Power Problem, LED Lights up and then shuts off

Do you have the switch or activate wire on the new amp. to the right hookup? If you do, then theres a problem with the amp and if your not a tech these can be a difficult thing to trouble shoot. Take back the amp or seek out a pro to test it on a bench. Good Luck
