Picture on my SyncMaster 940 BW 19 Samsung monitor is not clear, the colors is not natural. I have installation disc, which contains user s guide, install driver, natural color and magic tune, but windows 7 on my PC could not open this CD (It was possible early with windows xp professional). How can I get clear picture with Your monitor (clear picture is a main adventige of Your monitor). Thank You in advence.

Does the monitor remain on does it switch off?
Problem seems to be hardware related ie monitor itself is defective.Try connecting to another known working system.If monitor is defective it could be a power/inverter related issue or panel could be defective.
Please provide feedback and rate the solution.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix the problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts,replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and - connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping.

Sounds like system software needs to be replaced... re-installed. It probably got corrupted somehow since it is not rebooting properly. Use the original discs that came with the computer. Thnx
