U60: Job Offset Home Position error. Job Offset does not reach home position.

1. Cycle the printer's power.

Have you replaced the fusing unit yet?

Do you need to change out your black color cartridge? Check your ink levels to make sure that you have plenty of each color. Also, check the settings for your printer (perhaps under "properties") and make sure that you haven't clicked on "grey scale". I hope that this helps.

The optical photoconductor is the unit that the toner cartridge sits on top of and there are 4 of them, one for each color.

There is a list of different parts that can be causing this error.The first one is if its not seated properly. You can take it out and put it back in to make sure it is seated. Having bought a new one means that this is the only simple solution to this problem.Here are the different parts that may need to be replaced as per the service manual states:the imaging unit sensor boardthe CTG0 harnessthe engine control boardimaging unit motorthe lift uplinkthe motor driver boardthe low voltage power supply!! that't a lot of possibilities and there are a series of electrical and mechanical tests that must be performed. You will have to call for service. Unless its seated incorrectly.

The Service manual says:The Drum Phase Sensor for the named Imaging Unit indicates that the drum is out of position.Initial Actions:Reseat the indicated Imaging Unit.Cycle the printer's power.after these steps it gets a lot more detailed and you would need to be an experienced tech to understand everything and follow the steps within a timely manner, if reseating the cyan imaging unit doesn't fix the problem, then you will have to call for service.Hope that helpsChristopher

You can try do a NVRAM reset. If after that you still have the error message then I would tell you to contact the Xerox team as you might have a wrong consumable (defected/wrong CRUM) information.
