hello, I have a phaser 7800? the ignition it puts this code, I switched off and on again? the first switch after 5 seconds as indicated. Same thing, nothing, so I wiped the color sensors. The problem persists. What to do?
Go to the Xerox website and read up on your model. Also see if there is a fuse blown between the power cord and the system itself. Maybe the transformer has died. and needs to be replaced. That happens a lot with devices with 'step down' transformers combined with the electric cord as opposed to transformers built into the device.
I also have this issue running a xerox docucolor 550 and PS-CS6 the only soloution i have is to save the file as a pdf and send it from firey comand center if you are running a firey server command center is available from xerox website
That sounds like one of two things.
Either the ribbon cable to the screen needs reset, you have to remove 4 screws I believe it is, then unplug everything to that assembly, and re plug them back in.
If that does not repair it, then most likely the electronics module has failed. That is quite expensive to replace.
