The FM aerial input is simply just a female banana socket. For FM reception, you can use any thin insulated wire, keeping it clear as possible from TV screens, fluorescent tubes, to minimize interference. For the plug, strip end of wire 2 in (50.8 mm) long, fold bared part back on itself to form a U-loop about 1 inch 25.4 mm long, squeeze it a bit so end is V-shaped, insert into socket.Long wire boosts signal strength.A matchstick can help to secure the wire in socket.EDIT:Best to try get hold of the proper FM single-wire antenna which has 75 ohms matched impedance and correct plug for best signal. If AM reception is required, you need an AM loop antenna. For more details, visitmanualslib.com
Kenwood KR-A5010 home stereo takes several minutes to ''warm up''
It's probably a voltage regulator that feeds the main power amp. It will need to be replaced if it is. The way to find out would be to spray the faulty device with Servisol Freezer spray while the system is up and running. If it then goes dead it would confirm it's faulty.

My DP-48 CD Player is
same thing is happening with mine, its old asf and won't play a CD without skipping the entire way through, I recommend you just reset it by unplugging it for a day with the power button on, that might help reduce any static buildup in the ribbon cables. Anything from over 20 years ago will have many ribbon cables, which build up static causing electrical errors in the unit. I usually just turn it off for a few hours and then it works fine. But if that doesn't work, it's probably the spinning mechanism, since it's so old, the motor probably needs lubricating, if it's rusted or bent, then it is unfix able. I only recommend this if you didn't plan on taking it to a professional AV repair store. I hope you get to read this as I realize your post is from 7 years ago. good luck.

It's likely the power amp is faulty. However if you can't get in touch with Kenwood, then take it to another repair shop or go back to the other and tell them you can't get in touch with Kenwood and could they have a look at it anyway.
