You will need to go to audio set up and make sure it is set up to play with a center chanel if you have one as well as the surrounds. You can also only have side a speakers selected when trying to use surround. If you have b selected it will play in stereo only

you can check the output transistors for short circuits with the low ohms range or diode checker . If they have failed, then it is often a good idea to replace all as much stress can be placed on an output array in this type of failure. to repair reliable, all outputs on an offending channel should be replaced.
Make sure the fuse you replaced was the same type of fuse. check markings.... T stands for sloblo... a fast blo duse may let go at turn on. The power supply may have a shorted rectifier diode in it also.
be aware however, every time a fuse of that rating blows... more damage may be occurring to the amp.

TV is HD correct? Use the Y/CB/CR from the Sat to the TV. Use the Digital optical cable for sound from the sat to the receiver. Use the s-video from the dvd player to the tv and the l/r to the receiver for sound. I would suggest upgrading to another set of Y/CB/CR cables to connect your dvd to the TV and benefit from better picture. Also, buy another optical cable for dvd sound (so you can enjoy surround sound). Your receiver has two optical inputs so youre covered there.
