SOURCE: Denon AVR-810 going into PROTECTION mode
It sounds like there is a problem with the differential circuit. The bias I am not sure about, as every unit is different. You should get the service manual to be sure or call Denon and see if they can give you an idea. Good Luck

Ypou have an intermittent problem that sounds to be heat related... the more work the amp does, the more heat generated by the output stages. This will be aggravating some poor solder joints that are cracked or dry. The unit needs some repair work done in these areas. If you have good experience with a soldering iron, the cure for this is to resolder the power stages of the unit, or any other solder joints that look to be failing.

SOURCE: Volume turned up, kenwood shuts off briefly...
does it keep cutting in and out?
if so i think you have your polarities crossed
make sure you have negative to negative positive to positive
SOURCE: I have a Kenwood car stereo model # KDC-MP342U.
hold down preset 3 & 6 + reset
press preset 1 - shows dc err
press preset 1 - shows dc ok
press preset 2 - shows dc 2-4
press preset 2 - shows dc 2-0
then unit should be ok with eeprom reset
