All I got out of FixYa was a link to the Fujitsu web site. Waste of money really.

I have since taken it to a local technician and paid over $600 to have the power supply replaced.

Probably should have saved my $15 - $20 and done that in the first place......live and learn.

If power cord was jerked out of the outlet or set, make sure it wasn't damaged. If it was unplugged violently, the circuit board inside the set could be damaged. Also make sure the outlet that it is plugged into is not damaged or a switched outlet.

Check horizontal output transister short. Check AC fuse open. If it is open check powersupply section any short circuit and check PTC.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. Test the power to the outlet first. You can simply plug your phone charger in and see if you can charge your phone. Assuming the outlet is fine...

If it's a universal type of cord (one that doesn't need to be specially ordered), get a new cord and try that.

If that doesn't work, you'd at this point need to consider either taking it to a TV repair shop, or get a new TV. I'd recommend a new TV because there's very affordable brands like TCL.
