Fujitsu P42xta51: Does my fujitsu have ATSC tuning
Yes, the P42XTA51U has an ATSC (digital OTA) tuner. This is given in the specifications for the Fujitsu 51 Series TVs. That document is available here: http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/Fujitsu-P63XTA51US.htm
. The direct link to the specifications sheet is http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/ht_tuner_brochure.pdf
. Fujitsu had to include an ATSC tuner because the TV was manufactured in 2005. U.S. law required TVs over 36" have an ATSC tuner starting in 2005.
If you use the appropriate antenna, you'll be able to watch OTA broadcasts. I recommend checking with TVfool.com for antenna suggestions and the angle between your location and the transmitters. ( antennaweb.org assumes an external antenna but is very conservative in the list of available stations.)
I hope this helps.

Picture goes out and red power light flashes
Up , i also encountered the same problem 3 days ago. 42" Fujitsu Plasmavission. I'll try to call an expert, i hope its not a digital board again for me, it will cost around $2,000usd so better buy a new Korean made LCD for better and cheaper parts. I guess you also experiencing trmendous heat at the back of your plasma right?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "Mosaic
