I have a 2007 Chrysler 300 3.5 V6 Limited. My battery light keeps coming on 3 minutes after running and will die out completely after a hour or so. I just replaced the battery, alternator, starter, and changed a wire tjat goes to the alternator. I took the car to the repair shop and they did a charging system diagnose on it and it read that my alternator was bad. I explained to the mechanic that I had my alternator checked and it was working properly. He told me sometimes when a alternator is going bad it could read good or bad. So that's why I jad a new alternator installed. At this point I really dont kno what else could be the problem. I have repaired everything I could think of, if there is anytjing that I have missed please let me kno. Help someone.......

ITS NOT READING BECAUSE IT IS OBD 1 FIND A SHOP WITH A GENESIS COMPUTER THAT CAN READ OBD 1 AND 2

the voltage regulator might be giving out, test voltage with all options on and lights , wipers etc, voltaage should remail fairly steady

you have a bad diod in your alt you can have this tested at auto zone they can test your diod on the car for free **** i know that is whats wrong

it sounds like you have blown fuse to the Alternator.. I don't know what car you are talking about but they charging systems vary.. But if alternator isn't getting all the power it needs it won't charge. this should be checked.

have the charge rate checked , should be between 13 and 14 volts

Pull the negative cable off the battery for 30 minutes will reset keep alive memory. Question? Why do you want/need to do this? I only do this for bad emission problems. But the problems have to be fixed first.

Ligths getting dim on chrysler 300

Two things come to mind:
1. Your headlight lenses need some TLC with a headlight restoration kit.
2. Your alternator isn't charging your battery and the headlights are drawing down your battery.

If the headlight lenses are the issue then you will keep driving, if it's the alternator - well the battery will die and the car won't run.

un hook your battery to reset the computer , if it persits you may have to change the esp sensor keep in mind once you disconnect the battery it will clear your error codes and it can not be read later.

you need to remove the intake manifold to get to the right 3 plugs this is best left to a pro if you have never done anything like this before NOTE the plugs do not need to be changed till 100K

if i remember right if the battery light and check engine light is on, your alternators may be bad. your battery may just have enough to keep it running for a minute or so. you can take it out and get it tested at a auto parts store. or try charging your battery for awhile and see if it stays on longer. if this is completely wrong let me know
