The Canon MG5220 has a built-in auto duplexer and can print 2-sided documents. On a Mac, click print, and in the print dialog box select Duplex Printing & Margins (drop down options below Printer and Presets). Check the Duplex Priting box, and selected the Stapling side. Then click Print. That's it!!

Double printing or double feed??. Double printing means document printed in 2 copies. Double feed means printer feed double paper in one moment. For double printing,please check number of copy of document in printing preference properties.
Double feed occurs when pickup roller fails to pick the paper correctly. It's usually caused by shaft of paper pick up roller which is broken. You should replace drive assembly (include pick up roller) in this case

You must se up your printer.
Connect it to a PC and you have to download the drivers/software from the CD provided.
OK, now if you want to print document such as Microsoft Word, you can just press print and it will print.
If its image, double click on the image, you'll see the print and click on it.

**If you still can't print, go to control panel, click on Printers and other hardwares, then click on installed printers/faxes (it might be that there are more than one option of printing and it did not locate the right place), so check if you can see your printer there. If your printer is offline, double-click the mouse and set it as Default Printer.

5100 is a carriage error, check the timing strip for contamination(plastic strip about 1/4" in width)
The unit is not homing, check for obstructions.

Dont start the scan from the printer. It is a little bit complicating. Double click on My Computer, right click on scanner or image device then use the wizard to scan.
