There should be an external power supply and it is on the end of the electric cord. If you are able to open this black box there may be a bad capacitor. I would guess it is a 16 volt 1000Mf capacitor gone bad. It may be bulged. Try that and see. Thanks for asking!

Tv will not turn on after sudden power outage

you most likely blew a fuse the only "reset" is to unplug the t.v. and leave it unplugged for a few mins, then make sure that you hold down the power button to drain the power out of the t.v.then turn it back on.... only other reset sequence is for removing the parental code

Not turning ON, fuse blows.

In most cases, it is either a shorted component in the power supply or a shorted horizontal output transistor. It will take experienced electronic troubleshooting to fix it. TVs have lethal voltages (both 110V and 25,000V kind) and improper repair can result in shock, injury, or the emission of X-rays by the TV! Be safe and either replace the set or have a shop work on it for you. I'm a tech with over 25 years of experience, by the way. I appreciate honest rating of this reply if you find it helpful.
