THE WATER VALVE IN THE BACK IS A TWO PART SYSTEM. EVEN THOUGH YOU GET WATER FROM THE DOOR THE ICE MAKER SIDE OF THE VALVE COULD BE BAD. CHANGE VALVE. B4 YOU SPEND THAT KINDA MONEY--DO A SELF CHECK FIRST--POUR WATER IN THE ICE CUBE TRAY. IF IT FREEZES AND DUMPS THEN CHANGE THEWATER VALVE. IF IT FREEZES BUT DONT DUMP CHANGE THE ICE MAKER.

My GE monogram referenced above is working fine but for some reason stopped producing ice. It appears that the water is just not entering the ice maker. However, the water dispenser works fine. Any...

Make sure the filer arm is down and calling for ice and listen to see if the valve that allows water to enter the icemaker is making a noise. You may be familiar with that sound. If you don't hear it. the valve may need to be replaced. That is usually the culprit. Sometimes those older fridge valves are no longer available. You don't always have to have one that fits the same bracket. It just needs to functionally work as a valve and fit the tubes.

I have a whirlpool WRF736SDAM11 french door fridge. I've changed the icemaker per a repairman, but I still have no ice.

if water is dispening and you replaced the ice maker, the most probable cause is a bad water valve. The valve has two outlets, one for the water and one for the ice maker; it appears that you ice side is not working as it is not likely to be from the Ice Maker

good luck

[LG Refregerator] Model LFX25961AL water does not dispense and ice is not being made

Make sure the wire guide that pulls up when ice is at full capacity is not accidentally pulled up. (this is above the ice bin in the freezer). Pull back down and should make ice.

Maytag side by side refrigerator with freezer on the bottom water is spraying everywhere when the ice machine comes on. It has the ice / water dispenser on the front. Any ideas?

Check the water line leading to the ice maker for kinks. Also check the filer and ice tray end of the waterline for obstructions or ice that might be deflecting the water to areas other than the ice tray. Let me know how you make out. :^)

The water dispenser has stopped working all of a sudden...a little water drips out, but that's it

Make sure water valve was not turned off,
Check water Filter,

Empty Ice container to see if you have problem with ice maker.

if water filer is good & Ice maker are working good

Then there are only two things it could be .... The internal water valve or the line is frozen

Most common is water valve in the refrigerator.

Ice maker does not make ice anymore. appears the tray is not filling with water. door water dispenser is still working

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It’s on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

No ice

see if there is a device the water goes into then another tubes come out and goes to the ice maker, that middle part is bad.

Ice maker water level too high

generally, there is a screw adjustment for this. usually, turning it clockwise sends more water during fill period (makes period longer). try it and adjust clockwise or counter-clockwise as necessary. Now finding the screw...try prying (or unscrewing) off the plastic cover over what appears to be the ice-maker unit (may also be on back side of frig.
