Call service I've got an error message on our Kyocera Printer Call for service 7410: 0080226. Apparently 7410 indicates an error with the drum unit and the rest is a page count. My question is do I need a new drum unit and is that the problem or can I just remove and reinsert the existing drum to clear the error?

You may have gotten an incorrect message and removing and replacing the drum is a step in right direction. But if you continue to get the same message I am afraid you will have to replace the drum - they do wear out.

Panasonic DP-MB250. How to remove Call Service 5 on it please?

The "Call Service 5" error on a Panasonic DP-MB250 generally indicates a problem with the fuser unit. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait a few minutes to let the machine cool down.
  3. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge and drum unit.
  4. Locate the green lever on the fuser unit and gently push it towards the back of the machine to release the fuser unit.
  5. Carefully remove the fuser unit from the machine.
  6. Check for any paper jams or debris inside the fuser unit or around the rollers. If there is any obstruction, remove it carefully.
  7. Reinstall the fuser unit, drum unit and toner cartridge.
  8. Close the front cover and plug the machine back in.
  9. Turn on the machine and check if the error message has cleared.
If the error message persists, you may need to replace the fuser unit. Contact a certified technician for assistance.

How do I clear the "no waste toner box" message after resetting the drum on my Brother MFC-9440CN (the waste toner box is installed).

The message 'No Waste toner box' indicates the belt unit is not installed properly. To verify the belt unit is installed properly, follow the steps on this link:

Xerox Phaser 7400 U28 error message

The Service manual says:

The Drum Phase Sensor for the named Imaging Unit indicates that the drum is out of position.

Initial Actions:

Reseat the indicated Imaging Unit.
Cycle the printer's power.

after these steps it gets a lot more detailed and you would need to be an experienced tech to understand everything and follow the steps within a timely manner, if reseating the cyan imaging unit doesn't fix the problem, then you will have to call for service.

Hope that helps

Error message "put the black toner cartridge back in"

I got this same error message on a newly acquired Brother DCP-7040 that I purchased used off of ebay.

As I was troubleshooting this unit (that I bought untested off of ebay - hey gambling has paid off handsomely for me many times before!), this error message kept popping up.

I checked the COUNTERS (page & Drum life) and found out that the DRUM had 0% life left. BUT, the reason it showed ZERO was because this unit did not have any drum! The toner cartridge (TN-360) needs to sit WITHIN the drum (DR-360) on this DCP-7040 unit, as well as in models DCP-7030, MFC-7340, MFC-7345C, and MFC-7440N.

So perhaps some of these "put the black toner cartridge back in" problems could be related to the DRUM (or lack thereof). A possible tipoff (since the toner cartridge actually does slide into the unit much like other units that do not use Brother's DRUM carrier) seems to be the relative ease with which the toner cartridge slides into the DCP-7040 and really doesn't seem to "lock" into position real firmly.

I receiver error number E000067-0110

The error indicates a high voltage problem with the primary or transfer units. The most likely cause is the main drum being worn out.
This can be checked by going into service mode. You can do this by pressing the star button once, then press 2 and 8 at the same time, then the star button again. Now a word of warning. Do not change anything as it is very easy to turn your copier into a cabage!!! Press the tab marked COPIER, then the one called DISPLAY, next the one called MISC. You will see an item called DRUM LIFE, if it is 80 or more the drum will need replacing. Hope this helps.
