The error indicates a high voltage problem with the primary or transfer units. The most likely cause is the main drum being worn out.
This can be checked by going into service mode. You can do this by pressing the star button once, then press 2 and 8 at the same time, then the star button again. Now a word of warning. Do not change anything as it is very easy to turn your copier into a cabage!!! Press the tab marked COPIER, then the one called DISPLAY, next the one called MISC. You will see an item called DRUM LIFE, if it is 80 or more the drum will need replacing. Hope this helps.

Image runner c5870 error E0008-0001. How can i solve this problem?

that error happend because the last time the fixing assembly was rebuilt and or replaced the counter wasn't reset. what you need to do is go into service mode and clear the counter for the upper fixing roller and lower fixing roller.

to get into service mode you need to hit the additional functions key
the 2&8 at the same time
then the additional functions key again

this should get you in service mode even though there is an error code....if it doesn work the first time you try it shut the machine off and turn it back and try again. once into service mode

you need to hit the copier button....
then go across to the last tab .....counters...

click on it then click on drbl-1

then you will scroll down till you see

fx-up-rl click on it then hit the C button on the control panel where the numbers are and it should reset it back to 0

and then you need to click on

fx-lw-rl and do the same with it
fx-ex-rl and clear it as well

then you should be able to turn the machine on and off and it will come back to life

Installed new staple cartridge; display showed message 'shut off/shut on'. I did that and now the copier won't power on.

Take the staple cart. out and power off and on. Mite have been a fluke but had and additional problem once you turn on the machine.

My HP Laptop suddenly started showing vertical stripes around once a week and could use it anymore until I turned it off. on rebooting, I would hear a couple of loud beeps but the PC will not boot....

There are a couple thing youcould have been looking at. number one a virus(trojan) got into you machine.

Number two you mother board is starting to go.

Number three your video card located on the mother board is gouing bad.

Number four you hard drive is getting weak

The fan on a laptop always runs to keep the machine cool. Smaller spaces get hotter faster.

I think based on your decription it was a virus, make sure you protected. Back up all ou info just incase it is the hard frive is startig to fail.

Hi In our office Konica Minolta C250 ,it show message mulfunction. error:- c0206

Hi,
C-0206 relates to tray 3.
With the copier turned on do the following
Open paper tray 3, remove paper, close tray, open then shut front door, load paper into tray 3 - hey presto!!
If the fault comes back you could have paper stuck behind the tray or have a defective lift up motor.

Xerox 214

That is a fuser overheat message.
You can try this. Enter diagnostics. To do that turn the machine off, then press and hold down the ( 0 ) zero button while you turn the power on.
Once the machine comes on in diagnostics. Enter code 40 1and press start to see if it clear the fault.
That is enter 40 press start then 1 press start.
If that does not resolve the code you need to replace the fuser.
