Question about Kyocera FS-2000D Laser Printer
Check your waste toner box. At the side of the printer is a container for the extra toner to be stored. Everytime you change your cartridge you need to change the waste toner container. Carefully open side panel and remove waste toner bottle. There is a button you need to push do not force the bottle out.
Remove lid of new waste toner bottle and put into place and close side panel. Follow link for further details or use your setup guide that came with the printer on how to install the waste toner bottle.

SOURCE: I keep cleaning the toner/printer
How are you cleaning the tank? Just dumping the contents into a trashcan may not work. The printer uses a light sensor to detect whether the tank is full. When the light does not shine through the clear window of the tank, the printer thinks that the tank is full. Sometimes cleaning the window with a cotton swab will make it work, but it can be difficult since the location of the window with respect to the opening of the tank is not a straight shot.
Another way to clean it would be dump the waste toner into ther trashcan. Tap the tank a few time to get as much of the toner out. Then add some soap and water into the tank and seal the tank opening with the green lid. Then shake the soapy water in the tank for a about a minute. Then dump the soapy toner/water out. Rinse again with just water and and allow it to dry. You don't have to get the tank completely clean, just enough to stop the waste tank error message.
Hope this helps.

Open the right side door. there at the bottom is a long plastic bottle full of waste toner. If you have no spare bottle then carefully (dont create dust) empty toner into a bin liner. Now tap the bottle on the table to allow any toner on the sides to fall back to the bottom. now refit and all should be well.

This has worked successfully for me.
Symptom:
After replacement of a C3530 Image Drum, the message, "Toner Sensor Error" is displayed.
Cause:
The plastic shutter in the ID is fully or partially covering the toner sensor window.
Resolution:
Move the cover upward to allow for the sensor to become fully exposed prior to reinstalling the drum.
