Its the filter cap or plug. It unscrews anti-clockwise.

Remove the front lower panel, screws underneath. Be prepared for water, drain out from drain hose. Check filter for clogging, clean out. Sometimes when the load is unbalanced & the machine cannot adjust the load it stops. To avoid this make sure your wash is mixed with big and small clothes.
If this does not work remove the rear panel & check belt, should have half inch ‘give’. Still not good, remove belt, unscrew 2 bolts that hold the motor, unplug the motor connector, lever the motor back with a screwdriver. Check the motor brushes, if they are any shorter than 1 cm replace brushes.

Spin cycle doesnt finish

Suggestion: Take the power plug off the wall. Be prepared for a lot of water before attempting the following. It doesn't spin because the unit is not draining water. It will not spin with water in it - must drain first. Check drain hose for kink, check exit pipe for blockage. Remove the front access panel, bottom front, screws beneath; if you find a pipe there with a cap -this is for draining water. Could be your "coin trap assembly" is blocked, therefore not allowing all the water to pump out. Remove the clamp (or unscrew) that connects the trap assembly to the pump and clean it out.
If helped pl say so.

Will not spin and drain out the clothes

remove the lower panel from the machine and next to the pump you should see a drain plug -- unscrew the plug and drain water,, now clean out anything that might be in the hose or in the catch screen. re-install the plug and start the wash cycle and this should fix your problem.

Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer: front load whirlpool washing machine runs fine unt...

You can try this:

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

E20 so the hose is not kinked and not clogged. For a while I could hit cancel then run a spin cycle but now that errors out too and it's full of laundry and water Help!

I HAVE FOUND OFTEN THAT THE BUTTON TRAP BEFORE THE PUMP IS PLUGGED. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE WATER WITH A SHOP VAC ON THE DRAIN HOSE TO REMOVE THE WATER. THEN YOU MAY SPIN IT OUT. THE TRAP IS TRICKY TO CLEAN YOU MAY NEED TO CALL FOR SERVICE.

Water wont drain out of tub. will not start any cycle at all

It sounds like the pump is plugged. It will be located on the bottom of the machine. Remove the hoses from the pump. ( Make sure you get a pan to catch the water) You may be able to remove the object without removing the pump. If not, it is held on by 2 screws. Then you will be able to remove the objects. Just reverse the order to reassemble. This should take care of your problem.

Front load washer doesn't spin

My Maytag® Neptune® washer filled with water, but it won't spin or drain-what now?

Start by making sure the machine is plugged into a live (working) electrical outlet. Then check the appropriate circuit breaker and reset it if necessary (or check the fuse if you have a fuse box).

Next, inspect the drain hoses and remove any kinks. Take a look at the drain, too - if it's clogged, call your usual drain service person.

Then close the washer door and firmly press the START/STOP button. In a few moments, after the door locks, the washer should begin to spin. (For your safety, the washer will not tumble or spin unless the door is closed and locked.)

If this doesn't work, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-688-9900 for toll-free assistance and service scheduling if necessary.

Frigidaire Gallery Model FWT449GFS1

There is an obstruction in the drain pump. The only way to clear the obstruction is to remove the lower panel at the front by removing the 2 screws at the lower edge. This will allow the front panel to drop down. You will need to unplug the machine for the next part.

Now this will get a little messy... Be sure to have a lot of towels nearby to sop up the water. On the lower right hand side there is a pump with a black bellows attached which is also attached to the bottom of the tub. This black hose is clamped to the front of the pump if you unclamp the hose the remaining water in the system will spill out. You will have to reach inside the bellows and remove whatever obstruction is inside. some models will have a trap inside which may have to be removed from the top of the hose assembly by unscrewing the clamp on the bottom of the tub.

The hose will have to be reattached in the reverse manner. It can be quite tricky to do so... Once the machine is back together you can run a rinse and spin cycle, it should go into the full spin when all the water drains.

This procedure may have to be repeated a couple of times to completely remove all of the carpet fibres.

Washer won't rinse and spin

clean the drain hose, but make sure you have a container to catch the water and lot of debris will come out. Then unplug the washer and put water on spin cycle to drain water, after draining water remove the pump filter located next to the drain hose turn left to open and clean more debris. I found my husband wedding band I thought he lost it on purpose. You will be surprise how much funk is in that filter. Turn pump filter to right to close and put cap back on hose. Don't call the repair guy. Hope this helped.
