hi you have a waste toner error code, the waste toner is apart of the drum unit in these machines so you will need to order a new drum unit for it.

You have to enter servcice mode and reset the error code. Press the 'head' key with the star inside it - then the '2' and '8' key at the same time - then the HEAD key again. This must be done fairly quickly and then you're in the service mode. Now, from the screen select 'COPIER' then the 'FUNCTION' key then 'CLEAR' ---->'ERR' ---------> 'OK'. Now turn the machine off and on again. Your code should be gone. If not, you may have to clean the waste toner bottle neck where the sensor light shines through it.

Its an error with the senor for the transferring belt. Try going into the additional functions-adjustments/ cleaning-gradation adjust- full adjustment. And follow the prompts on the screen. If this doesn't work and you feel comfortable trying you can clean the sensor. Remove the front covers, waste bottle and the drum. The sensor is located inside the chassy where the drum was at, in the middle (front to rear) on the left Do not use a vacuum on the sensor it can be damaged easily. After cleaning and reassmbling retry the gradation adjustment.
