Scanner need help installing the scanner!

Pls help me l need your help.

Hi,

There is no need of installing driver for fi-5530c2 scanner as the driver comes bendled in the fi-5750c scanner. Hence, please install the driver for fi-5750c.On the application, you need to chnage the scanner model under "Select Scanner" menu.

Did you install the scanner software, if not, you need to install it again.

If already installed, try to uninstall the scanner driver and set up again the scanner unit.

Disconnect scanner from computer, uninstall the software you installed and restart the computer.
Download the latest driver software from: http://www.mustek.com/mustek/Support.php
Install the driver software but do not connect the scanner until the installation prompts you to connect it or when the installation is complete.

To make your scanner work use HP image Zone (included in your install cd or downloadable from hp's website)

First you need to make sure that you don't have the scanner plugged up. install the software through the disk that came with the scanner. when you have the scanner software fully installed (including drivers) you need to plug up the scanner. if the "New Hardware" notification doesn't show up you need to right click "My Computer" and select manage. Next you need to select device manager. from there you should see a "?" or an "!". click to view these unknown devices. you should see your scanner, select the scanner and you will get a new window. choose the driver tab. finally you need to choose the "update driver" option. then follow the step by step instructions in order to finish the installation of your scanner. please rate me i want to know if i was of any help.

Downloading the software from the cd wont help you. But you can just try running it and seeing if it will install. Windows Vista needs specific drivers for scanners, if it doesnt detect the scanner and install it then you need to go to the scanner manufacturer website and see if they have an update. or you can use a progra like VueScan, it doesnt need the drivers installed it will install the scanner and allow you to scan whatever u need
