My ink cartiage is stuck to one side on the right

Remove the ink cartiage and also the print head and reset the printer and then have the ink cartiage and the pinhead being reinserted again. Or the pinhead needs to be replaced and the ink cartiage also needs to be replaced and look for any paper being stuck inside of your printer too and remove any paper jams.

try taking out the cartridge and wipe the lazer foil with white spirit then put it back in and try printing again

You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Your printer cartiage will be out of ink.

Or it will be dry cause of not used from long time.

Change the printer cartiage may fix this problem.

Power on the printer ,
Open the right most corner cover when facing to printer ,Cartiage container will rest to stable position ,hold cartiage from top and twist it towards your direction ,it ill come out

When your looking at the front of the printer, look on the front right side, there is a panel that opens up

ink cartiage not properly installed ae shown but my cartiage are riffil

Because in refill catridges some connecting link is problem, remove the refill catridge and install the new catridge

do you have a digital camera? if you do can you please take a few photos of the ink and of there it goes in the printer and post them back on here?

I had the same problem too. Brand new unit and 5100 error comes on after power up. There is nothing jaming the ink cartiage, and it only moves a little bit to the left then jams back to the right. I can't even load in new ink cartiages. It's going back to the shop today.
