Hello - Either you have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. Contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.

SOURCE: GE front load washer (clothes)

THANK YOU. for those of you with a screw driver, here are the photos on how to.

It takes a philips screw driver and 20 minutes. The white screws may not align perfectly but don't worry, just get them to go back in the hole(no harm done).

I'm going to admit it was my wife that found this fix, so now I give the step by step photos.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet Sport Front loading washer and dryer with error code

An easy Fix. Take off the kick panel, 3 screws 1/4 inch. Make sure you have a shop vac ready or a lot of towels as there will be some water. Always disconnect power to washer and dryer, and turn off water to washer. Your filter most likely is clogged with change, screws, lint, and other household stuff that we leave in our pockets! Unscrew the cap on the filter, easy to find, since you have the kick panel off! Take everything out of the filter. Take your shop vac and **** out remaining stuff in hose. Also, **** up any water that has leaked in and around the washer. Screw the cap back on hand tight, put the kick panel back on, turn your water back on, plug it in and there you go! Maybe takes an hour and saves you a repair bill. If you are not comfortable with this procedure then call a maintenance person that is qualified. 775f844.jpg

SOURCE: front loading washer does not advance past the rince cycle

Check and clean filter, it is usually located behind a plastic panel at the bottom front of the washer, remove cover and unscrew the filter cover anti clockwise, pull out and clean, replace and test, if it still does not drain, then possibly pump blocked or faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Kenmore front load washer won't drain

Remove the bottom panel under the door to access the drain pump. Make sure the washer is unplugged before servicing the pump. The pump will be located under the wash tub in the front of the washer. There should be a small access cover that can be unscrewed to access the inside of the pump. If not, remove the inlet hose to access the pump impeller. HINT: Pull the drain hose from the standpipe and use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain line. This will pull any remaining water out of the drain lines and wash tub. This will minimize the amount of water that spills out of the drain pump when you remove the access cover.

It does not take much to damage this small drain pumps. If you clean the pump thoroughly and it still exhibits drain problems, the manufacturer recommends replacing the pump.

If you require additional assistance, let me know before you rate the solution. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

My water meter says my front load Kenmore washer, model He 4t from 2016, is using 530 gallons for a heavy load. How is that possible?

On average, washing machines use 19 gallons of water per load, and the average household runs between 5 and 6 loads per week. Based on those figures, most washers use up to 5,605 gallons of water annually.
Front-load washers use an average of 12.5 gallons of water per load, while top-load washers average 19.6 gallons per load. Older top-load models manufactured decades ago use 40 or more gallons of water per load.

Possibly reading the meter incorrectly...

My 1.5" water line to fill my pool puts out 12 gallons a minute
it would take 45 minutes running full out to put out 530 gallons.

Best to you.

My 7kg Electrolux front load washer keeps stopping from between 1 to 14 minutes before it finishes. I have to keep coming in to press restart button. It keeps saying ERR 10. What does this mean?

Family alarm code E10 means difficulty in filling during wash phase or water leakage.

Could be:

E11 - Tap closed or water pressure too low; Drain tube improperly positioned; Water fill solenoid valve is faulty; Leaks from water circuit on pressure switch; Pressure switch faulty; Wiring faulty; PCB faulty.

E13 - Drain tube improperly positioned; Water pressure too low;
Water fill solenoid valve is faulty; Water circuit on pressure switch is leaking/clogged; Pressure switch faulty.

Electrolux front load washer drain

Good Afternoon Friend,

I see that your Electrolux washer, model# EWFLS70JSS, is having trouble draining. First, I would start by checking the drain hose, to make sure there are no kinks in it and it is not clogged. Secondly, I would make sure that the drain hose is between 6-8 inches down inside the drainpipe. If it is too far inside the drainpipe, it can cause slow or no drainage. Thirdly, I would make sure that the drainpipe is not clogged. Finally, I suggest resetting your washer. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. When the power is restored, run a wash. If your washer is still experiencing a no drainage issue, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Hello jamespeattie - Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

Do I need 2" drain for frontload washer?

not nessarily if your draining system can handle a non-efficent washer the old top load style drain 42.3 gal of water evey time it fills and for a complete cyc on the h-3 washer only 14 for a complete cyc. When the unit is in the high spin all of the water is already drained and what little water is spun out of the clothing in nothitng to worry about
