SOURCE: xerox 3100 mfp error code (HSYNC)

Its related to the LASER UNIT! When I had the problem I had the front cover off so it wasnt hitting the laser interlock switch which is located in the slot in the sheet metal on the front of the machine when the front cover is not shut........... If that makes any sense.

On a xerox xc1250 what does a status code h3 mean and how do I fix it or reset it.

On the Xerox XC1250 copier, the status code H3 indicates a high-temperature error in the fuser section. This error occurs when the fuser unit gets too hot, and the copier automatically shuts down to prevent damage.
To resolve the issue, try the following steps:
  1. Turn off the copier and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for about 20 minutes to allow the fuser unit to cool down.
  3. Check the fuser unit for any signs of damage, such as cracks or burns. Replace the fuser unit if necessary.
  4. Check the power supply and make sure it is delivering the correct voltage to the copier.
  5. Plug the copier back in and turn it on.
If the error code persists after trying the above steps, it may be best to contact a Xerox service technician for further assistance. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to diagnose and fix the issue.

I am getting error code E000001-0002 in my IMAGE COPPIER 3545.... how to solve it

E000001-0002 refers to the fuser assy either getting to hot or not hot enough. Fuser error codes cannot be reset by power cycling the machine even though that is what the display tells you to do. In order to reset the fuser error code you must enter the service mode & reset the code. To enter the service mode:
press"Additional Functions" button (looks like a picture of a head with a star inside)
press the #2 and #8 at the same time (simultaneously)
press "additional functions" again
The display should show a choice of
copier,feeder,sorter,fax,or board service modes
Select copier
select clear
select ERR
press OK
Turn power off & back on.
****IMPORTANT****
After clearing error stay at the machine to see if it comes to ready. The fuser assy can reach 139 degrees C.(Water boils at 100C) The error can only be cleared through the service mode because a technician should inspect the fuser to verify there is nothing faulty that could possibly start a fire. If you enter the service mode & clear the error, power cycle the machine & during warm up the machine throws a code again- turn it off, unplug it & call a tech for fuser repair.

HOW TO RESET ERROR CODE 04-562

Not a copier guy here BUT came up with this
1) From here
http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/xerox/43094-error-04-562-workcenter-pro-c3545-print.html
It sounds like 'Image Belt Transfer' whatever that is.
'you can enter in serice mode on this model only with laptop and xerox wcp diagnostic navigator'
2) from Zerox here. http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-pro-c2128-c2636-c3545/support/enus.html click on fault code search , put in code.and......
'Needs further customer support.'

Sounds like a 'belt' inside the machine broken or faulty.
Hope this assists you.

The fax shows a messages saying "open heat error"

On this machine, you may have a fuser assembly that is bad. Replace the fuser modual.
If this doesnt work, then the main board needs to be replaced.
Also what most people forget is the fuser fan. Sometimes it turns slow and you will not even notice it. It might not even turn at all.
Replacing the fan will solve most problems, but if it still does not turn on, Look on there to see if it has a small circuit board on the fuser fan, replace it too.
if all else fails the main board needs to be replaced.
Good luck

Xerox pro 215, error H4 please help

H4 is a fuser error....not getting up to temperature.

Press [C] (Clear), press [Image Quality], press [C] (Clear) again, press [Image Quality] again.

If this doesn't bring it back to operations then the fuser lamp needs to be replaced.

Xerox Doc12 10-386 error code

That is a fuser overheat. Make sure that the paper path module is securely locked into place.
Look for a piece of paper wrapted in the fuser.
Or replace the fuser itself.

Fan Failure Error 54

1 of 2 things.
You need to clean or replace the fan.
You have to remove the back, right side and top cover to access that fan.It is near the back just behind the fuser module.
It could also be the low voltage power supply fan. Most likely the fuser fan.
Once you remove the fan, there is a label on it, remove the label, There is a rubber plug behind the label, remove the plug and drip some lubricant into the fan. Reassembly and it should be ok.
I would recommend replacing the defective fan though.
Here is a very reliable part source.
https://www.partsdrop.com/store/

If you call ask for Britt and specify the model number and that you need a fuser fan and probably order a Power supply fan, Neither are very expensive.
Have both on hand to be 100 percent sure the problem is resolved, But its a 90 percent fuser fan failure code. It operated in a heated area and can dry out faster.
