Printer now not printing, as it says there is a paper jam

In tryting to fix our fuser problem and removing the fuser, someone tried to print as we were putting the fuser back in. Now the printer won't print anything as it says we have a paper jam. We have checked whether there is any paper in there and there isn't anywhere. The error code says 13.20.00 jam in tray two, but there is no jam? We have tried turning off the printer but that doesn't work. Any advice anyone?

Thanks.

Many thanks I've just tried this and it still doesn't work as the machine still shows an error.

    Any other thoughts?

It sounds as though your pick up rollers are worn. when the oprinter can not pick the paper from the selected tray (tray 2 in your case) then it shows up as a jam. to sort this you will need:

One of these: RM1-0036-020: PAPER PICK-UP ROLLER ***'Y
Two of these: RM1-0037-020: PAPER FEED ROLLER ***'Y

Hope This Helps

Suggestion

Shut off printer
Remove fuser
Look at the back of the fuser the side that you see when it is installed
There is a sensor finger in the center of the fuser rotate the black plastic piece to see it.
Make sure you can lift the finger and it moves up and down freely.

Next goto the toner cartridge door.
Open it
Remove the cartridge
Under the cartridge there is a flap with a green tape on it.
Lift that metal flap up look under it is there any paper there?

Jam inside top cover 13.05.00 also change fuser assembly

To remove paper jam. Just remove the toner cartridge and pullout jammed paper. If still coming paper jammed error message. Switch of the printer and the printer will roll over the paper jammed.

Changing of fuser drum is required if the print out came with the black strips. This happens when you print large volume of printing jobs.

After a paper jam the ink not setting

If you check the quality of printing by changing the cartridge, then you only have to replace Fuser Unit. Probably that when you remove the sheet (paper jam) fixing deteriorated film oven. Best printer behind the door (rear door) and a flashlight to look to see when you print you can see something broken, a foil. the printer stopped trying to push the fuser - the two blue clamps can not be fixed because of this well and make noise. in most cases breaking a finger to catch the oven (the clip is on the side of the oven gear) so when you change the oven will resolve the problem with noise

I have a Hp Laserjet 4000n printer. Whenever i try to print the paper is printed but it does not come out and is jammed under the catridge and it displays error 13.5 all the time. can someone please help...

It sounds like the fuser roller is not turning.

Remove two small caps, unscrew the fuser fuser and remove it.

Rough up the red roller with Scotch Brite

Oil the black bearings on the top roller.

HP laserjet 5500dn paper jam at fuser

Hi,
I was able to fix my problem. On the left side of the fuser assembly there are two small plastic tabs or flags that move up & down. One is attached to the plastic rod/flap that you can see from the top of the fuser and moves when the paper comes out of the "chute". The other tab, which is below the first tab and moves when the paper has passed some point in the fuser, was broken off. I glued the tab back on and now the paper is ejected from the printer like it is suppose to.

I'm thinking that the broken tab was part of a page sensor flag that would tell the printer to stop rolling the fuser assembly when the paper was ejected. Without the flag, the sensor would disengage the fuser prematurely and stop ejecting the paper while the paper was still in the fuser.

Paper jammed

Your fuser is bad. The fuser is a part that "fuses" the toner with heat and pressure to the paper. You will have to have a new fuser to fix your problem.

Phaser 7700GX Color Printer prints wrinkled pages!

when this occurs the problem is most of the time with the transport roller, fuser / fixing assembly roller.question is the image still toner only and not fused to the paper.
In these areas there is offen a jammed and not removed piece of paper dislodged in the paper path or jammed in the fuser or the transfer rollers teflon coating has perished inspect the areas carefully and remove any found if the unit still is faulty (fanning of paper the fuser would be the first to be replaced are past there usable life) if so then Post a reply
