I have 2 dogs. At some point in time I'm certain that one of them has urinated on the floor and it was swept up into the vacuum cleaner. Do you have any suggestions for getting the smell out?

I think you can find your solution with any number of products found at petedge.com. The decision you are really left with is what odor you prefer as they have pine and citrus scented products. You may also be able to find comparable products at a local pet super store also. It will be a laborious task though as you will need to soak the hose if detachable and scrub the vacuum itself. An easier but perhaps less effective way would be to buy a carpet shampoo odor eliminator solution and allow the vacuum to do the work for you. Obviously you will need to change the bag before and after if your unit using bags.
