LE unfortunately is the fault code for a faulty Hall sensor or faulty Motor. The Hall sensor is attached to the motor. If you have or can borrow an electrical test meter the I can guide you throe the testing.80% of the time it is the Hall sensor.Hope this helps please reply for further help.

I have a nec nw-691, when you put it on spin cycle it brings error message --lid open??? plz help

Yuo might try making sure it is still level but I'd just try using a lower spin speed. How have to use "gentle spin" when I wash towels or my washing machine has errors and stops. If still too damp just use a gentle spin only cycle once more to finish the job.

Washer has a LE (or EE) code or something like that. First character looks like an E missing the top bar, or an L with an extra bar in the middle. i was doing a load of towels when this happened. i assumed...

Washing machine has an LE error code
Is this a new installation? In new installations, this error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply needs to be reset.

Step 1: Unplug the washing machine.
Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE code is cleared.

Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. In addition, detergent residue can also cause leaking and odor. Follow these steps to resolved an LE error code caused by over-sudsing.

Step 1: Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.
Step 2: Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.
Step 3: Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.
Step 4: Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle.
Step 5: After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum. Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer.

Hope this helps.

Washer stopped at begin of wash cycle

The problem seems to lie in the rubber backed mat. If the rubber has begun to peel of the mat it often-times get stuck in the drain pump. The best thing to do at this point is to disconnect the electrical cord, open up the machine, drain out the water as best as possible disconnect the power cord to the drain and the hoses. Clean out the drain pump. reassemble. You should be good to go., Unless the drain pump is burned out (left running plugged up too long) if thats the case, replacement of the pump may be neccessary.... Hope this helps...Good luck!.... Dirty racks

What is the manufacturer and model number of the dishwasher?
Here is the process I would follow to remove the gunk.
Start a short cycle in the dishwasher, without adding detergent powder and after the (hot) water has filled the DW and the wash cycle has begun, open the DW door and add 1/4 cup of household bleach. When the water drains and begins to refill for the 2nd wash cycle, check the dishwasher to see if anything has gotten better and if not, add another 1/4 cup of bleach as soon as the hot water has refilled. Allow the DW to finish the full cycle.
Begin another short wash and as soon as the initial hot water fills and the wash cycle begins, open and add 2 cups (approximatly) of white vinegar. Allow the whole set of cycles to finish and check the insides.
If grease remains, I would use a de-greasing spray (avilable at all hardware stores and most food stores.) Spray on and use paper towels on all surfaces.
Because I do not know the make and model # for your dishwasher, I can not give you a part number for replacement racks.
Good Luck!

Can't restart cycle

have you tried unplugging for a short time and holding power button down before plugging back in? if you have and it still doesn't work suspect door latch or control bd

WAsher not working

FL means 'failed to lock' the door didn't lock, so it didn't complete the cycle. Sometimes it's just because the door didn't shut completely or you may have a bad door latch assembly, or worse case, a bad control board. First try unplugging it for 5 minutes, then try starting another load making sure the door is closed completely, if that doesn't help you'll need to open it up to test the door latch.
