Hello rcolip,
It is a Clutch issue. The One-Way Roller Clutches in the hub of the clutch are not locking up in Spin cycle. Most times you can get away with a low cost Clutch Maintenance.
See my Clutch Maintenance Post for the details….. Clutch Fix Post It’s posted under my old forum nickname dh1200s.
If you or someone you know have very basic mechanical skills you can do this and save your machine and you $300+ over calling in a repair company that may know what the issue is.
I will help you or whoever will try to do this. Can you give me the 1st two digits serial number located here?
Post back if you have questions and as I said I can help you every step of the way. The Post I link you too may seem like a lot but it will save you $1K machine from bulk trash pick up.....Rich

It is the FAV6800AW and it is failing with dC when it starts into the spin cycle. I have tried to rearrange the clothes and it does not help. I have completely removed the clothes and it completes the cycle.
