My protect light is on amp no go

disconnect the power wire from it for a minute then reconnect.

Make sure the speakers are wired to an ohm load the amp can handle to prevent protection mode again.

Lanzar Vibe 1200D protection light

You will need to show it to a service technician as it seems the output section has blown so it remains in protect mode. One reason (could be) that the input to the amp was high and may have been clipping for some time before the amp decided it could take it no more

Lanzar amp 1000 watt stays on protect mode

Hello snow11879,

I haven't been able to locate any support information online about your product, other than the email contact for support questions:

[email protected]

If the amp stays in protect mode all of the time, I would suspect a short in the speaker wiring or speaker(s) voice coil(s), or perhaps a faulty ground. If it plays for a short period of time and then goes into protect mode, it is most likely overheating. First check all of the wiring. Test your speakers on a known good amp and make sure there are no places in your wiring where the insulation may have been damaged, causing an intermittent problem.

Many owners have reported that this particular amp has a tendency to overheat. Also, when run in bridged mode, the speaker impedance needs to be at least 4 ohms. It will overheat if the impedance is below 4 ohms.

Hope this helps.

THE PROTECTION LIGHT COMES ON

make sure your ground is drilled threw thick metal and the paint is scraped off and make sure that all the wires connecting the amp are 4 gauge or higher and if that doesn't do the trick get a better amp that can throw more power

How do i reset my 4000 watt lanzar vibe 286 from being in protect mode

You can only reset it by disconnecting power to it. If it is in protect you may want to check your speakers and speaker wires for shorts and/or grounds. If they check out all right you may have internal problems in the amp.

Installed lanzar 266 amp yesterday

most commonly that means that somewhere there was an arc in the electrical either the pos or neg going into the amp or rcas or its the speaker wire from the amp to to the sub itself look especially for little wires touching opposit polarity wire (like a little +wire has moved and touched a - wire)

your output of the amplifier have been distorted. I suggest you take this to a reputable service technician that has experience with lanzar OptiDrive old school Rockford Fosgate or Orion. These technicians are hard to come by nowadays but they definitely are worth the money that they charge. I happen to be one of those such technicians.

I have an old lanzar

For optimal performance there is really only one size for the box .Firstly, you get two different types of subwoofers, an open air, or closed air sub. If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long. Box size will be 11 inches x 11 inches x 11 inches. Hope this helps
