It sounds like the power supply (inside the amp) isn't producing voltage. This is generally due to blown power supply FETs but can be caused by broken connections. I'm assuming that you've checked the remote and B+ and they're at least 12v at the amp.

Does it blow the fuse with no remote turn-on voltage applied?

What size fuse is it blowing?

I have a Lanzar Vibe 235 amp. the green power light is not coming on, but the red "protect" light is. how do i solve this problem??

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Time to purchase an old school Lanzar Opti Drive. Any of them. The 50 will kill some 12" subs .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. lanzar-vibe-235-amp-green-power-shonxoarcym4awy4zl1imx4o-2-0.jpg Lanzar

Lanzar 800 watt amp protect mode stays on

protect mode usaully means that something has disrupted the power of feed lines to the subwoofer/speakers possibly fuse is blown in amp or amp is blown in which we hope not. see if you have a warrenty if blown and send back or bring it to where you purchased it from.

Annoying thump from two 15" kicker comps powered by a lanzar vibe 266 amp

It sounds like it may be oscillating. This can be caused by a broken ground in the signal line. You need to check the RCA shield on the head unit. You'll need an ohm meter. The following page has more details. If the head unit isn't damaged, the shield ground could be open in the amplifier.

Lanzar Vibe 1200D protection light

You will need to show it to a service technician as it seems the output section has blown so it remains in protect mode. One reason (could be) that the input to the amp was high and may have been clipping for some time before the amp decided it could take it no more

Protection mode on Lanzar Vibe 241

Almost without exception, if the protection light comes on as soon as you power it up, the output transistors are defective. Any reputable repair shop that services car audio equipment should be able to repair it.

My amp wont go past protect mode

Disconnect all speaker wires and signal cables from the amp. If it powers up (no protect light), the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down (goes into protect), the amp likely has blown output transistors.

Protection Light irritation

If the amplifier goes into protect when there are no speaker wires connected to the amp, the amp is likely defective. The most likely culprit is shorted output transistors. If it's new, return it to the place of purchase for repair/replacement.
