Aiwa isn´t a good subwoofer. The best are Rel, Sonus Faber, etc.
Here is the characteristics:

.1 20 watts, Min. RMS at 4 ohms, from 40 Hz to 160 Hz, with no more than 1% Total Harmonic Distortion

The subfrequencies are below 25 Hz, but TS-W60 work over 40 Hz!.

Bass frequencies (woof) are from 25 to 50 Hz.

Bad, very bad.

Sell it and buy a good subwoofer.

No sound from my Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer. When I run the test speakers don't have sound either. Not sure if its the subwoofer or the Yamaha RX-V450 receiver

Feed it with an RCA cable any other audio device you may have (CD, TV, MP3 player, PC) to prove it can or can not woof. It will respond to any audio, not just LFE or subwoofer audio.

Subwoofer not working.... JVC surround sound system 778V Subwoofer Part Number SP-PW37-SUB I hear a hum coming from unit so there's power going to it. I hear weak bass thumps with volume turned all the way...

A connectivity check could provide the solution, notice any wrong wire connections on device or any other devices requiring interconnection. The woofer would perform properly when the connections that provide current for woofing are approapiate

important notes
1. Trace the connection from Recorder or sound output to the woofer device
2. The wiring connections should be sound and video ouput into sound and video output into woofer.
3. The connections if any problems would be located at the stereo recorder or device producing the spund and video. Check the connections of wires on the recorder device ensuring rewiriing
4. finally, adjust the equalisers if any the buttoms could have been disbled by master switch hindering full blaster boost sound.

Skw-100 subwoofer wont turn on, i've changed the fuses still no power, any suggestions? think its the power supply ( metal box that directs the power from the wall to the circuit board) any ideas on how i...

HI, I will take it that you have changed external fuses, that is ones you can see from the outside of any container ( PS or S/woof), have you checked for any inside the "metal box"? Often there are internal ones. and also sometimes one or two are placed on the rear of the panel of the S/woof to protect the speaker/xover. Always be safe and disconnect from electrical supply before opening any electrical item. BE WARNED! LARGE DANGEROUS VOLTAGES MAY BE PRESENT IN DEVICES NOT CONNECTED TO A MAINS SUPPLY.

Philips Home Theatre System - no sound or power light on sub woof

reset the device to factory settings, it is written in your manual how to do this. If that doesnot work, unplug the powersocket for about 30minutes, it will cause an internal reset which might solve it.

Subwoofer output

There could be a number of reasons causing this malfunction, try replacing the subwoofer's cord, it might be damaged, you can also try reseting the system to the factory settings according to the following instructions: Reset Instructions: 1. Press the power button to turn off the power 2. Press the power button while pressing the ENTER button. (note: this will reset all memory) Good Luck
