I have a white superlock 534- I recently broke a needle and now I cannot load two needles. After unscrewing the screw- I try to load two needles and only the right will stay in--left falling out. If I load the left needle only, it will stay and the same with the right, but I want two needles loaded. Any help would be appreciated. I do have the pressure foot down, wheel in the highest position.

There is a set screw above the needle pin screw which tightens with an allen wrench--try that.

Continue turning it until it moves up 2.54 mm if it is timed correctly the point of the hook should be right behind the needle and passing above the eye in the middle of the scarf of the needle. That sounds like it's definitely an internal adjustment. The machine will need to be opened up and the left/right adjustment taken care of. Is this machine one that you can open the top easily, or is it the type that has the front and rear shell?

This sounds like your metal plate needs adjustment. Loosen the screws and adjust it until the needle goes all the way down. If that doesnt work, ensure that your bobbin case has been aligned properly.

the tension must be too tight or check to make sure the spool does not have a crack that is catching the thread in the middle of using the serger. When the serger is working and the spool has a crack it catching the thread then you press to go on and it gives a break the needle because the spool is still holding onto the thread
