Did anyone ever figure it out? I can’t get it back in either. Got this for 10$ and the machine was brand new. Figured it would be good to start with but the thread keeps bird nesting on the bottom. Tried adjusting tension, rethreading.. now I just took case out to tighten screw for the bobbins tension and cant get it back in. Thinking about throwing in the towel and buying a better machine.

Be really sure that the thread is threaded properly. Correct size needle for the material, and no cheaper thread. It does make a difference.

White machines are usually made by Singer. That company posts many of its manuals here: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals . The direct link to the manual for the WW100 is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/952_ww-100-x.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Same as with all machines essentially.......
Check the timing of the needle to the hook.
Here is a guide to generic principles of Timing

Loading the bobbin for this maching is fairly simple. First thread the machine. Then after placing the bobbin in the machine pull the thread out through the first notch and back through the second. (The end of the thread should be going in the direction of the little channel on the left side of the bobbin area.) Now what I did was make a loop with the end of the thread and pushed it under the casing below the needle. Then if your machine is threaded correctly you should be able to turn the knob on the right side of the machine so the needle goes down and comes back up once. If you've done it right the bobbin thread should come up in the correct spot.
